This 2025 The 80th Anniversary of VE Day 50p celebrates the 80th Anniversary of VE Day. Following years of hardship, adversity and uncertainty, Victory in Europe (VE) Day stood as the culmination of a six-year struggle, as the Second World War was finally declared over in Europe.
The reverse of the coin features the ‘dove of peace’ designed by the late John Mills which has been updated to include ‘IN PEACE GOODWILL’.
