This 2026 Portraits of a Queen – Elizabeth II The Second Effigy £5 is the second of five definitive coinage portraits of £5 coins of Queen Elizabeth II throughout her distinguished 70 year reign.
The portrait on the reverse of the coin has been remastered by Gordon Summers, Chief Engraver at The Royal Mint while the reverse has been engraved with radial lines that catch the light when the coin is turned to create an aura of elegance and permanence
Finally the coin is accompanied by bespoke packaging that explores the story behind the portrait originally designed by Arnold Machin.
