This 2026 The Royal Tudor Beasts The Queen’s Lion £5 was inspired by one of the oldest and most recognisable symbols in British heraldry.
The Queen’s Lion was chosen by Henry VIII to represent and legitimise his claim on the English throne and the reverse of the coin features an interpretation of the Queen’s Lion by collection artist David Lawrence.
Created in collaboration with the experts at Historic Royal Palaces, the coin is accompanied by packaging that details the heraldry of Henry VIII.

The 2026 The Royal Tudor Beasts The Queen’s Lion £5 is available as a £5 Brilliant Uncirculated Coin, 1oz Silver Proof Coin (Limited Edition 2500) and 2oz Silver Proof Coin (Limited Edition 400).
